The Bucks County Orchid Society

BCOS

The Bucks County (PA) Orchid Society (BCOS) is a small group of orchid enthusiasts that meet 10 times a year to exchange ideas, experiences, and knowledge on how to grow orchids. Our members grow their orchids on window sills, under lights and in greenhouses. Most meetings feature a knowledgeable speaker, a show table and a plant raffle. Many members bring in their blooming plants for the show table. The member's experience ranges from beginners to very knowledgeable growers.

The BCOS is an affiliate of the American Orchid Society (AOS). BCOS participates in native orchid conservation projects and coordinates its activities with other regional AOS affiliates. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month (except July and August) at 7:30PM at the Churchville Nature Center.
